Four accounts. Options I kept forgetting to mark when they expired. A crypto bag on Coinbase. The spreadsheet that held it all together stopped being trustworthy. I couldn't tell what my real cost basis was anymore. I didn't know my actual win rate.

I wanted a Bloomberg Terminal for my own book. There wasn't one. So I built it.

  • Tape uses read-only connections through SnapTrade. We never see your account password. All credentials are encrypted at rest. We don't sell, share, or analyze your data for any purpose other than running your account.

  • Tape provides realized P/L by lot, FIFO cost basis, wash sale detection, and lifetime gain/loss reports. It's not a CPA replacement. It's the document your CPA wishes you'd given them.

  • Add private investments manually with full round history, markups, and dilution. Crypto syncs automatically through Coinbase or your supported exchange.
